4-post lift for ZLE

I'm looking to purchase a 4-post lift for storing my ZLE. Any recommendations from those who have actually purchased a unit for their ZLE?

I have a Direct Lift. Direct PP8PL Plus Long Tall Car Lift is its actual name. I’ve had it for 5 years and it’s been pretty good to me. My ceilings are 13 feet so I went with the tall one.

I’ve had an Atlas 8000 for about 15 years. I’ve moved it 4 times to different states. Wouldn’t be without it.

Damn, I currently have a QuickJack but as I move into retirement and hopefully a 4+ car garage, I would REALLY love a 4 post lift!... Following this thread!

I got the lift king here in Alberta and sure glad I did. Not sure if they have a distributor in Ontario but it makes doing maintenance so much easier and helps Keep the mice out for long-term winter storage. I did have to cut the wheel stops down to a proper height for the car to clear in case I pulled a little too far ahead

I currently have three, 4 post lifts and had four, 4 post lifts in Iowa before I moved. In Iowa, I had 2 Eagle lifts and 2 Direct Lifts. I don’t remember the brand of my current ones(I just looked and they are Tuxedo Lifts), but all seven I have owned look and function nearly identically. I do agree with purchasing the extra tall, extra long model if you have room for it. I’m currently looking at buying a 2 post lift for those jobs that aren’t easy to do on a 4 post lift.

I had a choice between a 60" wide sturdy gunsafe and an advantage XLT lift. I chose the gun safe, and I'm still kind of glad because the safes are so expensive now.

I still want the advantage lift but everyone is buying them these days so they never have meaningful sales. I'm on the sidelines until they come down in price a bit.

I like the advantage lifts because of the bigger floorplates and they are all made in the USA and they are all certified.

Best purchase you can make, I sure miss mine as I sold it in 2020 when I tried to quit racing.

My daughter and son in law have purchased a 1 post lift for his BMW M2, they are building a new house and their lot just isn't wide enough for the 3rd garage, they had a 3 car in their previous house but he didn't want to have to walk around a 4 post in the new one so he found these single post and purchased one of those. This is not his exact lift but a similar lift to the one he purchased. That might be an option for someone in a similar situation.

I have the same lift (even colour) and love it as well. Must be an Alberta thing, lol!

If I were to buy a lift to replace my USA made 25 yr old lift, which I use for my ZLE, I’d have two requirements, USA made and ATL certified. Safety is no joke, I have had a lift accident, there is no going back.

Did the lift have a failure or was it user error?

I have the Bendpak HD9.
Great lift also track is adjustable for wider vehicles!
Just incase I ever buy a Lamborghini or something similar!

It’s a long story, I know better, but yes it was a lift failure. I could have prevented it, and have since addressed many issues I found over time.
My lift was from the only manufacturer at the time marketing lifts to the hobbyist, they have long since gone out of business. The Backyard buddy is an evolution of my lift. Knowing what I know, I’d buy a professional “Rotary” lift and be done with it.
