Anyone done the fabric treatment on the top yet? Was planning on doing mine when it was brand-new, but now its been a couple months, still need to get 'er done.

When it gets warm out, I'll try to convince wifey all 'vert owners need a top-down bikini photo too. ..

I used the Raggtopp cleaner and protectant when it was about a month old (Sept). Probably due for another treatment when we have another warm weekend. I've got to wait until I get the right rear window weatherstripping replaced after it fell off. Dealer suspects something wrong with the top mechanism and is fixing it next week.

Nice. Yeah, I feel a bit uneasy with the top mechanism, It appears to be made of a very cheap metal, making longevity suspect.

I flew from SoCal to NorCal to pick up my vert with my 82 yr old dad. The car was waiting for us, top down when we arrived. My dad leaned in to look at the car, and put his hand on the little panel where the arm mechanism comes out. He pushed in the panel and cracked the tiny little arm that opens and closes the panel. The sales manager, a guy I've spent hundreds of thousands with, immediately yelled "it wasn't me!". What are we, 6?

He told me when I get home that I should have my local dealer order the part, and I should get it in 4-8 weeks. I laughed, had him pull an arm off another vert and install it, and we were on our way less than an hour later.

Top still works great, but I don't trust it.

So far, though,I'm loving this thing, and hope to enjoy it for many, many years. (sez the guy that gets a new car every 2-3 yrs). I told myself this is my last ICE (Internal Combustion Engine) so figured it should be american muscle.

Here's my Vert with the top down. No issues with mine to this point. Need to put a protectant on my top as well. Spring can't come soon enough.

I use the RAGGTOPP cleaner every time I do a 2-bucket wash. I've used the RAGGTOPP fabric protectant twice in the past 6 months, due to all the rain we've been having. I plan on trying out the 303 Fabric Guard when I run out of the RAGGTOPP protectant.

These were taken in September shortly after pick up........ Currently in storage with only 400 miles on the clock....... I have since added Oracle ghost side markers, smoked out rear reflectors, black bow ties, color painted / matched third brake light, Borla exhaust, and a few other things here and there.........
