I normally take it to a hand wash place, but with my schedule the way it is, I find that I'm only able to get out there once or twice a month.

Any feedback would be great. Thanks!!
Sorry I can't directly answer the automated part of your question, but I thought I would pass on my own experience. I protected my paint with Black Fire Crystal Seal and then got a bottle of CarPro ECH2O waterless wash. I keep a spray bottle with ECH2O mixed and some microfiber towels in my trunk. Takes me 15-20 minutes....sometimes less... to waterless wash my car between "real washes". Eliminates the question of whether or not to go through an automated wash.

Ive never taken mine through any car wash. Only hand wash or rinseless wash.

I will caution you this, be wary of the "Y" on the fenders. It's very prone to coming off.

Thanks for the input guys! I think I'll definitely look into the Black Fire and CarPro ECH2O.

I second Heath. The Y can come off be careful.

Also even touchless car washes can damage the paint. Takes longer from touchless. And the vinyl takes a hit from car touch/touchless carwashes due to all the strong additives and/or wax in the soaps used.

Handwash is best bet.

At the bottom of my steering wheel where most have the SS I have Fifty. So they are also celebrating mine as a Fiftieth. Yep...its a rare Classic.

I'm sorry to inform, your car isn't a 50th Anniversary.

Copied and pasted the above post...

Welcome to our humble and crazy corner!

The 50th Anniversary Package, RPO Code H50, was only produced in a 2LT or 2SS configuration.

All 2017 MY (Model year) Camaros have the Fifty steering wheel badge as a nod to 50 years of Camaro. But only the units with the RPO Code H50 are the true Fifty Anniversary Editions.

The package has unique interior color/stitching/branding, Fifty side emblems instead of the Camaro emblem, unique vinyl graphics on the hood and trunk deck, unique wheels, and orange calipers, just to make a few items on the package.

You’re welcome to hang out with us but we cater more to the Anniversary Edition crowd here.

To remove the steering wheel is a piece of cake. Just use a small drift punch and the air bag just pop out than you disconnect the sockets and voila remove the nut. Just make sure that the steering is centered and locked before you start. Otherwise you will not break the nut loose.
