IPF Tune or HP Tune

I'm pretty sure this question has been debated many times over. So, does anyone with a SS have the IPF tune or HP tune? I'm considering either IPF or HP. Any input on which one I should choose would be helpful. The current mods I have are : Cold air induction intake, Vmax ported thottle body, SW headers with highflow cats to GM performance exhaust and Vitesse throttle controller. Anyone know what my gains would look like with either tune? Thanks

I had the IPF tune on my 5th gen and loved it. Car definitely drove better after the tune. I'm not aware of them offering a tune for the 6th gens though. Can you provide a link? Not sure about HP.

HP Tuners has been around a long time and is the software used by many many tuners. EFI Live is the other less commonly used software I have heard of. IPF is a new one on me ive never heard of this tuning software.

IPF don't appear to have compatibility with the 6th Gen Camaro yet, so that should make the decision a bit easier at this point.

www.ipf-tuning.com is making some ambitious claims... would love to hear from someone who has given them a try! Looks like they just got involved with the Camaro LT1 with the 2017 model.

I've still got their tuner from my 2010 5th Gen V6. They were some of the few people who could tune the Bosch chip from the first LLT engine.
Didn't buy their tuner until 2014 when I decided to store a copy of my custom tune after supercharging that car.

IPF makes a decent all around tune I'd put them on par with Trifecta in terms of goals only with less communication issues. I'd probably stick with HPTuners this go around though, the 6th gen tuning software is still evolving with them to this day.

HP Tuners is just the tuning software suite, they dont tune nor do they offer a tune for any vehicle. It is up to the person using the software to know how to use HPT and how to build a tune for it to work.
