2016 Camaro 2SS - Offsets for 20x10F and 20x11R?

Been lurking for a long while now, decided to make an account finally, and I have a question.

I'm looking to replace my stock 20x8.5F and 20x9.5R wheels with 20x10F and 20x11R... Looking around I'm seeing a lot of confusion and not a lot of clear answers (maybe I'm just having issues connecting the dots). I'm fairly certain if I run the 23/43 offsets of the ZL1 package I'll end up with a LOT of poke, am I right?

If so, what would be the proper offsets to prevent poke (preferably flush with the sides) on the wheel sizes I'm looking to upgrade to? Additionally, if it is different, is anyone aware of fitment issues going that wide? Note: I do not have MRC.

I have enough poke on my Jeep, don't need it on my Camaro too.

Any guidance would be much appreciated.

For reference: I'm looking at the HRE FF10 in Sarsaparilla.

Note: I do not have the 1LE package either. No MRC, no 1LE. I do have all other 2SS options however.

Both the SS 1LE and the ZL1 has these +20 front and +43 rear offsets. If you stick to 305/30/20 tires in the rear, you'll have no poke, tires will be flush with the quarter panel or even set in. If you go even wider and/or add bigger spacers, that's when poke begins to rear its ugly (to you) head.

For reference, here is what my driver side 315/30/20 PS4S tire on a 20x11 +43 wheel looks like with a 5mm spacer.

One more tip, try wheel-size.com yourself, it has extensive sizing and clearance information and allows you to easily compare any two sizes side by side.

I guess I should have clarified, I do not have the 1LE package. Does the 1LE package change anything? From what I'm reading, regarding offsets, no???

Edit: Looking at this thread, the 1LE appears to share the same fenders with the ZL1 now... My confusion increases. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showt...=504229&page=2

Neither do I, so I can't say for sure, but speedo and tire size calibration is certainly different on the 1LE. Wheel dimensions and offsets are the same between the SS 1LE and the standard ZL1.

I can imagine that ABS and Stabilitrak programming could be different, too, because standard 1LE wheel+tire sizes translate to a different front/rear balance.

Since I am unable to verify these programming details, I decided to stick as close to non-1LE front/rear ratio as possible so as not to, hm, rub ABS/Stabilitrak the wrong way.

From what I'm gathering, a non-1LE/ZL1 has the same rear fender widths and I should be good going 20x11 +43 in the rear.

As for the front, it sounds like the 1LE/ZL1 is 0.5" wider on each side by the middle of the wheel, increasing to 0.75" by the front of the wheel. https://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=504229

Going by that assumption and what I've seen elsewhere, am I correct to assume that going with a 20x10 +23 would cause the front wheels to stick out some? Or would the front fitment still be fine?

I ask mainly because the HRE FF10 wheels are only available in those offsets for those diameters/widths.

My fronts have little to no poke, maybe a millimeter or two, the top of the tire is almost flush with the fender. Hard to say what is "fine" for someone else, but rest assured 275/30/20's on 10-inch front wheels will not look like a Jeep or a Hummer.

Is yours a ZL1 and/or a 1LE? I read your garage stats and it looks like it's not but has a bunch of parts swapped over.

I have a 2018 2SS, non-1LE car with (approximately) 1LE spec aftermarket wheels and wider tires.

Perfect!

May order my wheels tonight when I'm done gaming.

I had the 20x10 ET23 front and 20x11 ET43 rear MRRs with the 285/30 and 305/30 Supercar 3s like the SS/1LE and ZL1 come with, on a regular SS. They REALLY fill out the fenders, so much so that you'll want to consider some kind of splash guards/rock guards because they are going to throw more crap on the side of the car. I chose the GM splash guards for mine with those fat tires. Pic below.

Looks great, did you go with the gun metal or gloss black on the MRR017s?

I had the Gloss Black M017s. Sadly, I sold them, hence the depressing word 'had' instead of 'have'.

I'm thinking of going with the glass black MRR017's (10" & 11") for my 2SS when it comes time for tires...

You probably won't regret it

One word of slight caution, though, paint quality on these wheel isn't exactly at Koenigsegg or even Porsche levels, so don't expect perfection. Mine are okay with no glaring issues, but I certainly can imagine a more consistent, hm, surface treatment.
