Question About Temps...

I’ve noticed a couple of odd things with my 6th gen. Not necessarily bad, but rather interesting.

For one, I’ve noticed the engine temp on my car never goes above 210 degrees Fahrenheit. It’s been particularly hotter than usual in SoCal this summer, and I’ve been sending it like crazy on straightaways and going apes*#% on harsh corners, yet my car doesn’t get very hot. Granted, my electric fan kicks in when it needs to, but that surely can’t be enough to keep my temps where they are, right?

The other thing I’ve noticed is that my oil temp has gotten to nearly 220 F this summer (not really a surprise), yet my engine temp remains under 210.

Is this normal, or do I have a sensor problem?

I'm pretty sure the coolant temp Gauge is a dummy gauge, all the others are real though

<210 is normal. But check your coolant level anyway. The top tank should be full, the bottom tank should be half full.
