I have my detector on a Blendmount under the mirror using their Mirrortap cord.
Sadly, I ran out of battery in my multimeter before I found switched 12V. But I did find always on 12V. Red with a white stripe is +12V and black is ground. If someone else finds switched +12V I'm interested in knowing that. Suppose I oughta just get a new battery for my multimeter and get to finding it.

Pulled out my overhead console in the 2SS, so this may not work for your car, if you use the PU/W color wire from the rear connector, that wire is switched, here are some pics. |

Yep, that's the one, and the black for ground. Works perfectly for my dash cam.
Thanks Ofer.

For those removing the over head console, do not pry at the edge close to the windshield. There are tabs that slide into the head liner. The clips to remove the piece are toward the back of the car and are closest to you when you're sitting in the seat. |

Thanks everyone for the tips and tricks! I was successful in mounting the Max360 in record time. Works like a champ. Now it's time to program the detector and go for a cruise.

So we are going to make a new harness that will be plug and play and have the connector that plugs in to the Radar Detectors.
