A Tire Coating that lasts
I have never felt that any tire dressing is head and shoulders above any of other one I've used. I've used 10 or 12 of them, they all seem to last a week or two. Up until now I've been using the Armour All extreme shine and doing it about every 10 days. My friend RonKH over at the Autopia forums recommended this new tire coating that goes on and and gives you a matte semi gloss. I'm on my fourth week and are pretty amazed that it still lasts, even after 3 rinseless washes. I started to notice that it was slightly diminishing in some areas, so today I applied a simple maintenance coat and it came right back and looked uniform. Give it a shot if you're looking for a tire product the lasts longer than most of them. Remember, spray the applicator, not the tire.Certainly not expensive:

Glen,
Ever since I started reading your posts my wallet has been a lot lighter. I guess that's both good and bad. I guess I'll order this too. Thanks for the heads up on this!

What if I'm looking for a nice rich shine? I want glossy.

This stuff works great. Will last through the rain and still shine on. It's a dry spray so there is no slinging onto your paint. Serious fumes though so use outside if possible.

I like the concept behind this product Glen, unlike a water or oil based product, this is a polymer that actually bonds to the tire, kind of like a sealant for tires. Provides some gloss, but basically gives the look of a new tire without being too glossy.
I was thinking of ordering it, but I wondered if you have used Carpro Perl? I usually get 3-4 weeks from it as well. If you think it's better, I'd like to try it.

I used perl several years ago on an accord, and I did like it, I think as a 50-50 dilution. And yes it did coat however , the reason I stopped using it as I couldn't get it to be uniform across the tire every time. This is very uniform, I'd give it a shot as its so damn cheap. And it comes off with an APC very well. Once again though, there is no "best"… This one just works great for the price.

Thanks, I'll give it a try then. I like matte better then glossy anyway. On tires.

I'll have to try this. I still have a discontinued matte tire shine spray from a few years ago that I've been using but didn't know what I'd do for a matte finish when this ran out. I like my tires to look new, not shiny.

No downsides, wipe on, wait 15 min, quick buff with MF towel.

I started using Armoral Extreme, haven't used it in years. It was horrible years ago! I had heard they changed it in recent years, awesome stuff! Lasts a while, but I tend to like to reapply a quick coating often, good stuff.

Used extreme, liked it , but this stuff is amazing, do your tires every 6 months, amazing, no more biweekly applications.....
