Magnaflow catback replacement

Hey everyone, any help would be appreciated with the following.

I have a magnaflow comp series catback on my 16 2ss camaro without NPP. The drone is too bad for my likings. I have heard great things about MBRP. Can I remove axleback portion of mf exhausts and replace with MBRP? Both use 3inch pipes. Would this solve my drone problem?

TIA

Yes, it may require a bit of fitting after the fact, but most of these exhausts are cut and hanged in about the same location. I can't comment on the drone.

Ha, went through the same deal. The Magnaflow sounded good midrange, but the light throttle drone drove me insane. I had it off the car within 400 miles. Lol

Can’t comment on MBRP, but I switched from Magnaflow to AWE Touring and it’s amazing. Zero drone. No brainer move.

Thanks everyone. I’m looking at installing J-pipes tomorrow. If that doesn’t work I’ll look into the other options

J-pipes will get the job done. Probably be easier then welding in another axleback.
