I have MRC on my Camaro. I have Apex Wheels. 19x10 et20 and 19x11 et43. I was told its direct fit with 285/35 front and 305/30 rear with MRC. However I just purchased the Conti's ECS with 285/35 front & 325/30 for the rear. Again, I was told this should fit with no problem so I shall find out this weekend or next when the tires come in.. I will share my findings..

Yes, I do.

As to tires you asked about, I'll go with Michelin PS4S for the front and Toyo R888R for the rear as an experiment, if the Toyos are too obnoxious without enough extra grip to compensate, I'll wear them down and switch to PS4S in the rear, too.

Will report back with fitment info once these babies are on the car.

Thanks! From what I've heard, the grip of the Toyos will be worth it! I don't have MRC on mine, so if you have room up front on yours, I should definitely have enough then. I think if we have any issues with the rears it will be the rubbing issue not a suspension issue like on the fronts.

Okay guys, good news, 285/35/20 tires on 20x10 +23 front wheels and 315/30/20 tires on 20x11 +43 rears (MRR M017) fit without rubbing on my MRC car.

We did add spacers, 5mm in the front and 3mm in the rear, to improve clearance, simply because I didn't want to be so darn close to the edge, clearance would only be an uncomfortable 1-2 mm without them. The wiring harness on the driver side rear was relocated. Wheel studs appear to have sufficient thread engagement (8).

I made a couple of closeup fitment pics for reference, see below. A bit more sidewall is going to be better for ride quality, and these sizes result in a closer-to-OEM non-1LE setup in diameter.

The setup looks absolutely badass, there's a few mm of poke both front and rear, just as I wanted. Cornering grip is obviously much improved over stock. I only drove the car about 20 miles so far, no launches yet as it's still fairly cold outside and the tires are freshly mounted, but drivability is excellent, steering response feels great, no codes or stabilitrak warnings, a bit more tramlining.

Now for the only slight negative so far, the new Toyo R888R's in the rear are noisy, which I of course knew going in, just want to state it for the record. Not as bad as the OE runflats, but there definitely is a distinct background whine, which will be okay with me for a while, it actually adds some cool factor, but once these wear out (and I can hopefully improve on my paltry personal best at the dragstrip), I'll probably replace these with PS4S.

Looks great arpad_m! Since you had little issue with it, and me not having MRC, I'm thinking I'm going to go with the same sizes all PS4S, and I'm going to try to just relocate the harness without adding spacers. Hopefully it will be as you said and still have a few MM of clearance. Now that you've had them on a few days, how are you enjoying them? I bet those R888R's hook great!

Thanks, brother Hope clearance will work out for you without spacers, I haven't seen the underside of a non-MRC SS, coupe or vert.

Everything feels very good so far with the setup, minus the tire noise, steering response is great, tons of grip from these Toyos, but the real test for them will be at the dragstrip of course.

Thanks for sharing the info arpad_m! I’m considering the 888r’s as well for the rears. The 315/30 look good in the fender wheels.
And sweeet looking ride!

I would personally go with the Bridgestone RE-71R. Grip level is similar, but they aren't quite as terrifying in the rain.

Could you explain more what needs to be done with relocating the brake harness?
