Ah great, looks like that link is dead... well, it was basically a video of a motorized license plate holder, pops it up in front and then swings in underneath the car out of site.

I used to get pulled over for not having one all the time.. never got a ticket though! I finally gave in and got one put on my current Camaro after getting pulled over twice in one day for it. I heard later that I could've just put the license plate in the dash and that would've been acceptable.. if thats true... time to find a way to make it not scratch the dash!

Thats a good point.. but surely by now someone like Auto Zone or somesuch has something that could secure it to the dash?

levi1922, that is sweet. I think I'll be getting one of those. Looks like it might rattle around at high speeds though. Any problems?

Attach plate to sun visor using rubber band and flip down to be seen

some one did suggest on an earlier thread that if it did rattle, you could get a small piece of foam and put it on the back so that the foam would touch, not the plastic. i dont really see a problem with it rattling mainly because the wind will be pushing it toward the car, keeping it firm against the bumper, in theory at least.

levi1922, I believe you should mount it on the driver's side on the front.
That'ts how I'm going to mount it unless I hear of a better way. |
