Honestly, if you want your interior looking how it was from factory with no shine or smell, get a spray bottle and mix one to two little drops of dawn dish liquid with distilled water filled to the top of the bottle shake and spray. It will remove all crap and finger prints, use a dark micro fiber cloth. It's good for everything inside your car including windows

I use a microfiber towel with a water and soap to clean. Then follow it up with 303 Aerospace protectant with uv blocker in it. This stuff lasts a long time. Lasts about 3 months on the outside plastics and about 6 months on inside before I redo it. Probably could last a lot longer.

What he said. I just buy the wipes as stated earlier in the thread. Best ever!

I tried the 303 after hearing about it for years on my new car and I thought it was terrible. I used a little and had streaks. I tried using a generous amount and I had streaks. I used a clean micro fibre towel each time.

I ended up just washing it off with a wet micro fibre towel. I'm going to use something else next time.

Anyone else have this happen?

I use Adam's interior detailer for plastic and chrome, their leather conditioner for the seats and leather trim pads, never had an issue. Interior looks pristine and still has a new car smell after 2 years.

Over time the dish soap will strip all the oils out of the plastic and rubber. You're not providing any kind of rejuvenation to the materials or any UV protection.

I second the use of 303. Fantastic stuff- if it streaks, just finish off with a dry microfiber.

I used 303 for years on my boat and all my cars, Bought it by the gallon, it works good. But I think Poorboys natural look works better. spreads easier, give us a great “new” look, not glossy.

Carpro Inside is great, has a nice smell to it...kind of pricey, but I like it a lot, especially if you buy the gallon size, comes put cheaper.

I go over all of the plastic and then follow up with a wipe using a blue shop towel. Keeps it looking brand new and dust-free.
Ditto, I use this as well, works on Pleather and leather .
