Hey, sometimes it's the silly stuff...

I'm at 38psi all around currently. So it's probably not the issue this time around.

38 PSI is high
Set it to ~ 32 PSI Cold and see what happens.
Warming up you should see ~34-36
I think this is (for me) the ideal pressure for spirited DD use on the streets and highways

From my research, you need a "trim height calibration". Here's a video:

go back and explain to them your steering wheel isn't centered correctly and that you want a "street alignment" ask for a print out also! Like everybody said on here "dont lower a mrc car"!

Too high.
Cold is 32, and like posted you want to be somewhere around 34-36 at operating temp.

If you are at 38 PSI cold, that will cause some instability. I go with 33 Cold front (for a little added crisp turn-in) and 32 rear.

Anything above 37 PSI hot and you will get some instability.

Thanks to all who replied. I went back for another alignment yesterday and all seems to be well now. The car settled a LOT after driving it a little, so when I went back in last night, the alignment was waaaay off. It drives just like before now and feels great. We also adjusted the tires down to 32psi cold.

I will still take the car in for the trim height calibration just to cover all my bases, but the alignment got the car sorted out in terms of stability under acceleration. Happy to have it back to normal.

Good to hear.

My alignment was off from the factory, felt way better after I got the toe under control.
