A bid farewell to me 1LE

Man I loved the car. The 1LE is really a special car, but I found a 2023 C8 used with under 500 miles for $75k that I fell in love with. It's a 1LT. Has high wing spoiler, side sills, chin spoiler, R badge package and black accents to offset the arctic white paint. Never thought I'd buy a white car but the color combo looked awesome to me. Similar to a white 1LE. The car just looks clean AF. One thing I don't like about the C8 is it's too quiet. The NPP exhaust on the Camaro in track mode sounded so damn good. Time for a Borla on the Vette! Here's a pic!

I mean, if you're gonna get rid of a 1LE, that's the way to do it.... Congrats on the upgrade and good luck with the fuddy duddies on the Corvette forums

Very nice!

I have read and heard the C8 exhaust is not as aggressive as our Camaro’s

Congratulations! Nice C8. I looked at a 1LT Z51, but decided on a ZL1 instead. White and black too.

Nice, I just did the opposite last week. I traded my 2023 70th Anniversary Coupe for a 2024 Camaro 2SS Convertible. Camaro has Magnetic Ride Control, NPP Exhaust and the 6 speed manual transmission along with many other options.
Reason for trading down? Fun factor! I found that the C8 did everything well, but I really missed the manual transmission even with the Dual Clutch Transmission! I am happy, plus cut my car payments by a year and $400 monthly.

Same here. Had a c8 z51 and found it boring. Was my first automatic car since I was a teenager and after a year and a half of ownership I had to go back to a manual. That and it was way too quiet. Sure, you can add an exhaust but with all the tranny issues with the C8 I didn't want to risk a warranty claim issue should something happen. So sold it and bought a SS 1LE manual. I miss the wow factor the corvette offered (I've had C6 GS, then C7 Z06, then C8) but the manual camaro is just much more fun to drive

You sound exactly like me! I also had a C6 2012 Grand Sport (Convertible) a 2018 C7 Z06 and a '23 C8. All together, I have had 43 Corvettes since I was 18 and with the exception of the C8's all have been manual transmissions. The manual is half the fun! The 70th Anniversary model was a beautiful car, but just lacked the fun factor with that DCT. Best of luck with your SS 1LE I am sure you will enjoy it!

Enjoy the corvette! Maybe tucking in your shirt is making a come back.
