Holy crap you are in Albany? I am in Salem. We should meet up sometime with the cars. I am about a week away from finishing up my Maggie build.

I'm down.

I'm also thinking about taking the trip to CamaroCon in April, stopping overnight in SF on the way.

I was trying to get with that guy to do my work but he seemed hesitant which felt odd for me. Never quite got in reliable contact with him so I went with the guys at VMR down in Springfield. No harm no foul, I understand he is busy with a capital B.

Maybe we can all get together on a Sunday for some coffee or lunch. I'm in no rush since I am still in Winter mode.

that's funny you say that. i had that first initial vibe from him as well. I live a few miles from the shop so i just pop in and shoot the shit with him so we have solid rapport now. he stays super busy though for sure.

i am in winter mode as well but def should make something happen.

Yeah and that is what others have said too when I asked about it on the PNW Camaros Facebook Group. He is the most legit name in the area for GM cars but I just live too far away to drop in to create a relationship.

How are you planning on doing the trip down there? The wife and I were planning on staying the night in or around SF and then driving the rest of the way the next day.

I was thinking about driving down for that.

However, I have a conference in Vegas in late July and I intend to do an HPDE at Laguna Seca then drive up the PCH to get home. Maybe hit up Thunderhill if I get a chance too.

The only way my car is making it down there is if I drive it.

The last year it's sat a whole lot since we bought the wife her charger, so it will be nice to get some wheel time on her again.
