Installed the system today. Highly impressed with the attention to detail. They included brackets to put the exhaust valves on so they could still be plugged in but non functional of coarse with no check engine lights. The sound and deep tone is amazing. Pictures and video to follow soon.

I installed the axleback this past Friday and I must say I am highly impressed with the deep tone of the exhaust. It definitely lets you know it's there, but at cruising speed including highway speeds of 60-80 there is zero drone.

For those on the fence for this exhaust on the A8 I would say go for it. The AFM does not seem to cause any effect to the tone and definitely no drone when it drops to 4 cylinder.

I will try to post video this week.

Great video! I've been considering is exhaust for th axle back since I already have my exhaust done all the way back to the axles. I haven't got it yet because a few videos I have seen shows the exhaust popping a lot on decel. I'm not real big on that. Does yours crackle and pop much!

P.S. If you're getting headers, Stainless Works is better sound and performance over Kooks anyway haha

Matt, the only issue with the aluminized is you can see the hemholtz canisters from the rear of the vehicle. Glad I went Stainless, but probably doesn't matter.

I was under the assumption they are exactly the same except for the material. Is the aluminum just brighter? Kinda wish I went with black but probably going to add the borla carbon fiber tips when they become a viable individually this summer. Also installing the GM cold air intake tomorrow morning and I'm excited!!!!
