Doesn't hurt to do both depending on what power you're looking to make. The low side is goo to run just to make sure you have the fuel supply. Meth helps the fuel supply but it's also added octane which is power. |

Wow we need to start charging more. We could do all that and a low side upgrade for under $13500 installed and dyno tuned (trans too) |

We've made over 20rwhp with a big gulp over a standard Rotofab (and a competitors tune). 1 7/8" are nice for fitment but they will cost you power over a 2" sooner or later. |

How does it work for Trans tuning. I thought the tcm has to be sent in to be unlocked? Also, can u do American Racing headers?

OEM style fuel system is infinitely more reliable than any meth system, regardless of brand. I've played with Snow, AEM, and ProMeth on other builds over the past decade or so, and the pumps rarely lasted more than 2 years without needing replacement. Adding meth for cooling & supplemental fueling makes a ton of sense, but NOT building the main fuel system and just relying on meth is not something I'd recommend. My 2 cents, of course. But the track record between the two systems is crystal clear in terms of reliability.

I’m a fan of methanol and value some of its properties. But I couldn’t agree more that it should be an addition to a adequate fuel system, not one of the major components of one

I could be wrong, but i dont think my goal of 750-800rwhp is pushing it. I just want to make sure it is reliable, drive anywhere still type of car. I know others have gotten there for less money, but i also take into account the high humidity and temps in my area and why i am thinking best to pony up on a more efficient SC. I want to do the cam for 3 reasons. First is the fuel lobe, 2nd the power gain, and lastly cammed cars sound better IMO. I am not out for hero dyno numbers. Just want a reliable build, but can still go to the track and run a 9x.

Yes the tcm needs to be sent out to get unlocked. Luckily for us HP tuners is local so we don't wait very long on shipping. Yes we can do ARH. Personally, I would run Stainless Works headers. They are going to be less expensive then ARH and the connect by the rear axle. So you get a full 3" Xpipe that doesn't neck down. We always make a few extra horsepower when we do the full Xpipe set ups. |

Ideally you have enough fuel for your set up and then you add meth. We generally don't do builds the other way maybe we add a little more E content but that's about it. |

750-800 is somewhat conservative with this blower. These cars are still plenty reliable in that power range too. We run into some issues north of 900 with the trans. Considering Gm cars had 4l60s in them 10 years ago thats pretty impressive. |

Personally I'd run the low side and wished I'd done that several years ago and depended on meth and boost a pump. I didn't have enough low side to run E but wish I'd had that many times as I depended more on race fuel (14.00 per gal and E85 under 2.00 bucks) since I drag raced all the time and never drove the Camaro on the street. Meth kit is 500 to 750, dsx low side 1000 and E sensor 250 to 400. I spent an average of about 1000.00 bucks a year on Vp Ms109. You can make more power on E85 then I could make on race fuel if you ever decided to go that route.
