Procharger Guys... Catch Can or Breather Pics?

Anyone have pics of their CatchCan setup with their procharger?

With all the front seals blowing (mine seems to be ok so far) I'd like to take some preemptive measures.

Also... at 630whp, is there a certain can that becomes useless? Will just tossing a breather cap or breathers in the right areas work as a bandaid until dropping 300ish+ on a catchcan is less of a pain on the wallet? I personally don't mind if the side effect is oil smell, as I'm pretty much used to it with the procharger kits current setup (hose leading from clean side PCV box to K&N filter) Where would I install them, the breathers, exactly, and does anyone have pictures of this setup with a procharger or similar centri blower?

I don't mean to start a debate about breathers vs a can itself. Just want to solve my crank case pressure problems as cost effectively as possible. If a can is the only way to solve this, simply saying so will do. Thanks in advance peeps!

Now that I give it some thought... How the heck would a closed can breather differ from how procharger already has a hose from the clean side to the filter on the intake of the blower as far as crank case pressure evac goes??

IMHO, the vented mightymouse Wild CC will be all you need if you don't already have any sort of CC now. It includes an adapter that replaces your oil cap lid which is used to redirect crank case gases into the CC which is vented. Its like a hybrid can. It only vents to atmosphere during boost. Non boosted driving it runs off the vacuum from the intake like any other CC.

I myself have the Mightymouse MILD CC which is more designed for N/A so the hose sizes are smaller and doesn't vent the volume of CC Pressure I feel comfortable with so in addition I run a Metco breather in place of my valve cover oil cap. This way the MM mild can is catching oil during normal driving and vents under boost as well as the Metco acting as a secondary vent during boost.

If I had it to do all over again I would just get the MM Wild setup and call it a day.

Our E2-X Ultra solution provides full time evacuation (suction) on the crankcase so pressure cannot build in the first place VS allowing pressure to build and vent.

We also trap 95% plus of the gunk you don't want ingested vs less than 50% of what enters, and we maintain a closed emissions compliant system endorsed by Turbonetics head Engineer as well.

We guarantee there is no better solution for the street period.

Email our Tech Support team direct for detailed explanations or to answer any questions. You want to do this correctly, and not like it was done in the early 1900's.

I know the front crank seal issue is a problem as it happened to me and I am dealing with it but I had no idea how widespread it is. Why don't the various supercharger kits just include the better LS3 seal or a breather?

I am following Jannetty's solution of an LS3 Seal Upgrade and the Metco Breather with Check Valve in place of my oil cap. However, I am also considering a catch can setup if one becomes available for those of us that are boosted...my Mishimoto one will certainly not fit where it was designed to fit with the Procharger intake tube in the way.

Where you ever able to get a picture. My intake and mm line seem to be hitting and hitting the hood cause of clearances.

if you are asking me? no my cans not hitting its the line in the way of my pro chargers intake, causing the intake to hit the hood

I have yet to see either the Mighty Mouse or the Elite Engineering installed on a Procharger D1SC with any pics of the hose routing from the vacuum manifold Procharger uses in the kit.

All of the CC kits reference using the 2 ports off of the intake manifold like on a Normal N/A application, that way doesnt work on the D1SC as both of those ports are in use on the vacuum manifold that is used in the D1SC kit.
