Door locks not working after unplugging body-door harness
First I had the negative off the battery before doing anything.
I unplugged the body-door connector on both sides to route some wires to the door, after replugging the connector and plugging in the battery the lock/unlock would not work through either key fob or buttons inside. I routed some wires a few days ago without unplugging the connector with no issue but now I’ve had this when I unplugged this connector. I have tried to unplug and plug the connectors (with the negative off) to make sure it’s fully connected and also replaced the battery in the key fob. My confusion is during a few of my attempts of replugging the negative and spamming the unlock button the locks would work for a few seconds then stop working. I’ve read that some suggested seeing the BCM fuse but I don’t see an issue with any, I didn’t see any fuse that mentioned locks but I could’ve misread. https://youtu.be/LKs4EdRoJAs

My take on it as most devices on todays computer cars use a data buss. Each device has an address and it takes a while for the computer to scan its newtork to relearn.
