Get Continental or Michelin’s on your Camaro.

Pretty much no options in that size except the same GoodYears if you want to stay with all-season RoF tires.

Do yourself a favor and get an all season tire that’s NOT run-flat. Use the money you save to buy a modern spare which will actually fit in the trunk with the top down, carry a plug kit with a small inflater/compressor or have a great roadside insurance plan.

Either way, the inconvenience of losing trunk space or potential of being stranded on a conventional tire is far and away the better option versus of being pounded by run-flats, the terrible road noise and less than stellar grip on every single mile you accumulate

I changed my stock RoFs on my ‘vert earlier this year (5 years & 25,000 miles), with conventional A/S tires and it completely changed the character of the car for the better. Follow the brand suggestion above, but any tire from a "reputable" brand will be significantly better than the RoFs.

I live near Dublin ga. and run summer tires all year . I got general g max sport 245-40-20 installed at discount tire for about $950. I love them , they have a great responsive feel.

A plug kit and small compressor will alleviate the need for a spare and let you choose great tires that are not run-flat. In the rare case where you can't plug a tire, you likely have roadside assistance in some insurance plan.

If you do not care about the run flat feature and all season traction, the best summer tire replacement is the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. If you are looking for good summer performance on a budget I would recommend Firestone Indy 500 tires.

^^^ this. Plenty of threads here covering both of them.

I will add that the PS4S is very expensive, but it's more like a 3-season tire when driven reasonably. I drove on these all the way down to 36-38 degrees and the car remained completely drivable and maneuverable. Again, one needs to exercise sound judgment with the throttle in these conditions, and even though their wet traction is second to none, these tires will probably be ice skates when driven in the snow.

i replaced my run flats around 3 years ago with General GMAXs, they gave me a good run but im about to replace the rears after maybe 25-30k miles. Not bad, but my ride was deff still hard ( i dont have magnetic) so i might look into something else, maybe the Continentals. Opinions?

Appreciate answers. I have 16,000 miles and am down to 5/32?(I’ve rotated every 5-6 k miles) . I live in Kansas City the last 2 years. Is all season best when you have all 4 seasons? If so which brand of all season (non run flat) Thanks

I had Michelin pilot summers on a focus st 5 years ago then went to Indy 500 which I liked better. I keep my g max pressure about 30 psi cold. The g max has a very satisfying feel to them in my opinion. I would like to try the continentals.

These PS4S tires are totally worth the price difference. You will not be sorry. I paid the pre-recession price of like $1400ish for the set, and I have never been happier.

I have two sets of wheels: Stock wheels for winter and Summer wheels.

I just replaced my rear stock wheels with Verdestein Wintrac Pro winter tires. So during late fall early winter I just swap out wheels instead of tires. Currently using regular all seasons on the front. Nothing special or name brand. Not planning to do 1/4 mile rips or run a track in 6" of snow.

Yes that would be a good choice for sure. Continental tires are very good and usually a little cheaper than Michelins.
