Only Driver side vents blowing hot? AC problem

I drive a 2010 SS L99 and recently, when I put the AC on, my driver side vents barely blow and the air is hot.. the passenger side is cold (a little warmer than normal) but still working fine for the most part. I'm assuming some of the plastic ducting(for the lack of a better word) just came loose inside the dash... Does that sound right?

Ever since I bought the car, when I make a hard turn, I heard what sounds like quarters jingling in the vents, but it's never given me problem. Probably not related but figured I'd mention that for just in case that rings a bell for someone.

The car has 65,000 miles on it. Any help is appreciated.

Or a lot cheaper depending on how you want to go about it.

This thread gets kinda drawn out but in a nutshell you can cut the side of the hvac box in the car and replace the blend door then seal up the cut piece and be on your way. The door is pretty cheap, the labor to pull the dash and windshield if you don’t do it your self is not cheap.

I paid $16 for a new blend door and $12 for a roll of Flex Seal tape.

The hardest part is having to live with knowing you hacked up your airbox, but I got over it quick lol.

or you could just put a valve in the heater hose line and turn it off for the summer...

Perfect, this is what I will do. I have never brought any vehicle to a shop or dealer and I'm not about to start. Thanks for the help

if you turn off the hot water running through the heater core your a/c will be cold again without having to spend a lot of time trying to hack into a spot thats hard to get to.a person did this in the thread heater door hacks ,around 8th or 9th page.
