Fitting Oem Z06 wheels on 16 camaro

Got a really good deal on oem gm gloss black z06 wheels, 2500$. I have a 2016 camaro, the wheels i picked up are front: 19x10 and the backs are 20x12, prior i was running 20x10’s on the back and 20x9.5’s on the front, 285/30/20 on the rear and 245-40-20 on the front, this has proved difficult as the 285’s have to be stretched to get them on this massive rear wheel, and i’m unsure how to fit these wheels on my camaro currently, the rears are supposed to be 335-25-20 +59 offset, i would need to buy spacers for the rear, correct? if anyone has any information on doing this, let me know. I know even trying to run 305’s i rubbed the driver side wiring harness in the fender.

In rear - need approx 18-20mm spacer to achieve ZL1 1LE level of poke.
Front.. staggered? 19x10 43mm, put spacer needs at... holy shit.. 35mm

Best bet... sell the wheels and buy something that actually fits your car.

Bolt pattern is WRONG too... 120.65 vs 120 !

I'm assuming this is from a C7 Z06? They are the wrong bolt pattern for a 6th-gen Camaro. They are 5x4-3/4" (120.65mm) whereas your Camaro uses 5x120mm. You may not think two thirds of a millimeter is enough to matter, but it is. Don't use those wheels unless you use adapters that convert the bolt pattern over. You could do adapters because on the rears you're going to need about 1" of spacer anyway (SS 1LE 11" wheels has 7.69" backspacing and the ZLE has 8.11" whereas this Z06 wheel has 8.82"), and with the fronts you'll need somewhere between 0.75"-1" of spacer (SS 1LE front has 6.3" backspacing and ZLE has 6.43" whereas this Z06 front has 7.2").

As for your tires, I'm not sure how you're going to get 285s to fit a 12" wheel. The max rim width for that size tire is supposed to be 10.5", so you're pretty far outside the specs. You really need at least a 315 section width and preferably a 325 (but height is a problem with 25 series being a bit short and 30 being a bit tall) or your aforementioned 335/25. Obviously you can't run your 245/40/20s on a 19x10 wheel, so you need to buy tires anyway.

Sorry to add to the negativity, of this, you don't say what generation Corvette ZO6 wheels, C7 ZO6 wheels are pron to cracking, check out the C7 Corvette forum ,I think there's a class action suit pending. It may be advantageous to resell and buy similar style to them , as that why you purchased. Good luck

Do you think i could get a 305/30/20 on the 20x12 without it looking rediculous?

And as for the fronts would a 265/30/20 work? What would you recommend for tire size?

I feel like it’s possibly due to the 25 profile tire, and hitting potholes. I’m not planning on running a 25 profile tire perhaps a 30-35 might do it a little bit better (and i guess i’ll be watching for potholes)

Yes. They are recommended for up to an 11.5" rim width, so an extra 1/2" is a stretch but not a massive one.

The Z06 wheels are 19s, aren't they? 19x10?

Assuming so, then you need a XXX/35/19. You can choose from 275/35/19 or 285/35/19. As you go up in section width, you'll also gain tire diameter. The rear 305/30/20 will be 27.2". The front 265 will be 26.3" diameter, so the rears would be 3.4% taller than the fronts and that might play havoc with this ABS/TC. I wouldn't risk it. The 275/35/19 will be 26.6" tall: the rears would be 2.2% taller and this will be fine. The 285/35/19 is 26.9" tall and will certainly work. If it were me, I'd probably pair the 275/35/19 with the 305/30/20 rears so the difference in stretch between front and rear isn't as large.

The 305/30 has a little more sidewall than the 335/25 (27.2" diameter vs 26.6"). If impact harshness is part of the cause, then that will help a little. Probably more important is not to run overly high inflation pressures. For street driving with that 305 on a 12" wheel, I'd target cold inflation pressures of maybe 30psi. Depending on the weather and driving style, that gets a warmed-up running pressure of 32-34psi, which is more than enough for best performance with most tires.

Last time I checked the C7 Z06 Corvette tire sizes are 285-30-19 front and 335-25-20 rear, I'm not sure 19" wheels in the front and 20" wheels in the back will look right on a Camaro.
