This was my 2017 1SS on the Quick Jack 7000 SLX when I had it, you can see where I placed the jack pads, I have yet to use the Quick Jack on my 19 ZLE but I think that there will be no issues. |

I used a Quickjack for a couple weeks but I quickly realized me crawling under the car was gonna get old really quickly. Especially since I'm in a wheelchair which makes it even harder. So I returned the Quickjack and I went full blown four post car lift. I love it!

Sharing my QJ experience/picture. After some help via PM from @2SS Capt and @M1nd64m3, I finally got mine in the air.
I used ZL1 Jackpads and the SLX extension kit (which I bought for another car, wasn't totally intending on using it with the Camaro). The biggest issue I ran into was exactly WHERE to mount the Jackpads on my LT1 and lift - the further front and rear points were slightly too far apart even for the SLX. The back point has a lot of plastic around it and none of the QuickJack blocks would fit (2SS Capt said he used a hacksaw to one of the supplied pads to rig a solution). |

They will NOT come off. I have 40k miles on my 1LE and the lift points have been on since day 1. I track my car often. They just don't move. I have 6 on mine. There are three lift points per side. The -5000 works fine. You don't need the extension. If you don't want the lift points, you MUST get something that will work with the pinch welds. The QuickJack pinch weld blocks are not great for the Camaro. The cutout for the pinch weld is ok, but the block is too wide for the skirts. A set of hockey pucks will be your friend. Add those to the blocks that come with the QJ and you won't have any problems. I have a slight slope to my garage floor, the blocks+pucks help me get the car perfectly level for the lift. For an on/off solution... https://zl1addons.com/collections/ja...-3-jack-magpad These make positioning the QJ much easier.

There are 3 lift points on each side. Absolutely no reason to cut anything. Extension is NOT needed. I understand that lifting a car can be a nerve wracking experience. Even more so when you actually go to get under the thing and start applying torque. The only time I have used a 'belts and suspenders' approach to the QJ was when I was installing the ZLE rear cradle bushings and had to drop the rear-end of the car. Just because I wanted to have no fear, I put two jack stands under the front-most lift point while I dropped the rear. The car never moved and wound up with no weight on the front stands.

I have the extended version of the quickjack. It reaches the back and the front most jacking point.

Which Quickjack?
I realize the thread title is 5000 but are you using a 5000 or 7000? I also have a GMC Sierra Crew Cab truck so I was thinking of getting the 7000 but can't decide if I need the extension with the 7000.

I have the Quickjacks 5000 and just use the blocks that are supplied you drop into the trays, I put my car up in the air about 5 times a year. Takes a couple of minutes to align everything and you're good to go, no need for the permanently mounted thingies my opinion

Is anyone using 5000TL or TLX? I'm not finding the sl, slx, or ext on the Quickjack site.
