First draggy 60-130 run

Will be doing lt4 blower conversion with lt4 fuel system on my SS and wanted to get some comparison numbers so I bought one of those dragy gps timers.

First it’s pretty awesome and have been seeing it forever on dragtimes YouTube channel.

So tonight I took my 2018 ss 6m with pray ported tb, ported intake, rotofab, and catback exhaust and do a 60-130 run.

I did 3 and they all were in the 10.8 range. I believe 10.86,10.89,10.82. How do these numbers compare to others and things like zl1’s?

Just curious why a 60-130 run ?

0-60? 1/8mile? 1/4mile? are usually a more relateable data to compare with.

I did 60-130 because it was about 45 degs and the roads were not great so traction was a limiting factor. My idea was I wanted to see an accurate time and not one based off of traction or launch. Maybe not the greatest way but I figured it was a good idea at the time plus it was fun hahah

60-130 on poor public roads is natural selection. LOL

60 - 130 would be a whole lot more relevant to those of us who do our hardest driving on road courses than zero to any speed or any distance ever could be.

Really just wanted something to gauge the difference when I put on the blower. Wasn’t that serious and figured I’d throw the number up here 🤷🏼*♂️

The usual benchmark is 60 to 100.

Uh...so, you’d rather do a high speed pull on crappy roads than a slower 0-60 pull? Seems a little backwards to me, but, as long as it’s just you on the road, I guess have fun!

60 to 130 is a pretty popular metric now days, and I haven't seen anyone mention a 60 to 100 in a very long time.

It can be relevant to roadcourse guys as well as roll racers and quite repeatable since a launch and traction isn't really a variable like it would be from a dig.
