weird sound from engine / normal?
i'm not sure if im being paranoid or if this is not normal
I don't think i've ever popped my hood while my car has been started so im not sure. |

alright thanks guys, just didn't know if i was being paranoid or not.
I did pull the dipstick and it had maybe 15% oil on it, filled it to about 75% oil recently so that was a scare aswell - but it wasn't DRY. |

Can you describe the sound? Cell.phones don't do very good under the hood they pick up the loudest sounds and purposely lower the lower volume sounds so it could be difficult if it's not close to the source.
