I must be living right. I haven't had any problems with my '16ss in 23k miles. I haven't even had any issues with my aftermarket stuff. The only issues I've had are with the ac and serpentine belts disentigrating and flying off. I had removed and replaced both several times so I really don't blame the parts for these failures

Yep I suspect all the trans issues have a whole lot to do with those numbers.

Both of my 6th gens have been track cars more than street cars and both have been flawless.

Let's see..

Hmi USB failure
Display failure
Coolant temp sensor fails startup test when starting car randomly
Rear suspension makes a sound as if the diff mount is broken or some other component is loose under load.

32k miles.
And that's being good to it in ideal weather.

I'd give it a worse score

It's really complicated how they score these. Because of the sample size they use old survey data and that can really keep the score down. From what I can tell they didn't even have enough survey data in 2019. Realize only members complete these surveys. So a few bad surveys can really impact the score. If I want real data I look through forums like this one.

Per cr, paint/trim and transmission issues drag it down.

looking over KBB expert ratings the

Mustang is 4.6/5.0

Camaro 4.3/5.0

Challenger 4.0/5.0

Charger 3.7/5.0

Corvette 5.0/5.0

So it depends on who you ask.

650hp daily driver, going on 2 years, near 20,000 miles - 2 mechanical failures related to front struts, easy fix under warranty. Glad I didn't get one of those hangover Monday builds

Big fan of Consumer Reports and have been getting the mag for decades. These numbers are a result of an annual survey that goes out to subscribers. Not scientific and not CR opinion. All car people should get the mag and support this credible non-profit.
