Yes, see below (I also have the LT5 throttle body with an adapter). It's the original SS model, not the newer SC or the big gulp.

Just curious, why do you have caliper covers when the Camaro already has 1 piece calipers?

Because I want red calipers and they aren't available. I checked with the 2020 GM parts about the red ones you can now get from the factory, but you can't order just the calipers, need to get the whole brake package! I could paint them I guess, but not sure.

Do you think I should dump them? I want them for my red & black theme. My anniversary style graphics in red and mat black are on the hood, roof and trunk lid. I agree they don't look as good as actual calipers in red. I would appreciate comments - do they look tacky?

The whole package is sexy as hell.

Actually love the rear window louvre. Where’d you get it?

I say if you like them don’t dump them.

Typically most people can tell they’re fake from a mile away. I just found it weird that you actually have the real Brembos underneath them.

You can use G2 caliper paint. You brush it on and it comes out smooth like a gel coat. Then you can buy heat resistant stickers for less the $15 that say Camaro or brembo.

But if it’s already how you like it no one else’s opinion counts. Enjoy it!

From eBay. They're plastic not metal but work quite well.

Red Calipers for SS - Paint

Understand how you arrived at the caliper covers after having researched the options myself. I had a similar color combination and contrast goal - black car -red calipers (silver gray OEM was OK but....). The GM aftermarket solution -- as you noted -- made zero sense . I contemplated the G2 high-temp paint solution and likewise checked out powder coating. At the end of the day I opted to have a high-end paint/detailing shop -- outfit provides ceramic coating for BMW, Mercedes, Porsche and exotics -- to paint my Bembo 4-piston calipers. They did a fantastic job (cost about $450) and paint good to about 700 degrees plus - more than sufficient for street and can handle a few laps at track.

Your plastic caliper covers wouldn't survive track use but that is likely not a concern of yours. Aesthetics are your focus. From a distance caliper covers work, but close-up one can notice the difference.

Photos of my painted calipers are provided below.
