In case I can't get the LPE insert.. Been waiting for a while. Where did the shop find the trim and the rubbing on mine is coming from the carbon insert tabs wondering if I can heat up the plastic part and remove it. FYI looks like the new hennesy car has a Higher carbon insert for the LT5 blower.

So that piece is glued down and I didn't try and take it off yet. I did have to trim them shorter as it was hitting the lid. The trim on the edges is just door edge guard from autozone.

I am not a huge fan of carbon and quite honestly our hood is super light. If I did go that route I would want it dull carbon or I would get it wrapped

which one are you referring to?

The Type CP? or Type AZ they are for SS and the Nose lines maybe off..

The Zl1 hoods are same clearance.

Thanks for the info! Contemplating an EForce kit myself.

Is there a list of hoods that are known to clear the SC?

I think it fits under your SS hood just fine, it is the ZL1's that have the issue

Took all day well I say all day I drove 3 hr round trip to pick up zl1 1le wing.. turned out pretty damn good! Thanks LPE you guys rock!

Added a pic to show the comparison..

Tomorrow I will install the new blower lid and add the Kong performance badges.

Hopefully not a pain to take off because I have the black cover in carbon fiber coming soon from trufiber!

Yes just used the head gun..came off easier then a wing that's for sure!

I wedged a screwdriver what ever you do do not pry I worked with carbon before it cracks very easy!

I suppose dental floss or good fishing line works then use goop off since your bracket is exposed.
