Drag suspension set ups
Didn't know what everyone runs for best drag set up.
I'll share my last results before I went cam and converter as I haven't gone back. BMR lower trailing arms (non adjustable) BMR Diff Lockout BMR driveshaft loop Best 60 was a 1.62 on stock cam and converter on 305/45/17s Kind of wanting to do the rear subframe (cradle lock out) Would I really gain much? I'm now a custom (boost oriented) cam with cnc heads, and a 3600 circle d. |

That's my next purchase, cradle lockout. My best 60ft is 1.35 but I think there is more there but have to settle the movement down in the rear.

They put solid cradle bushings in the ZLE, has to say something I suppose. Just don't wanna make my car unbearable where the girlfriend doesn't wanna ride in it to the track or dinner.

Some of the guys with the SS like ours are replacing them with the ZlE bushings. Swanson has them in his 8 second SS and he had the BMR and replaced those with the ZLE stuff. Not sure on the pricing of the Z but the Bmr is in the mid 300's for pricing.

I don't think sacrificing the comfort is worth the difference, my car is maybe 10.50s at best with heated and cooled seats, don't plan to go stupid with this car. That's what I told myself anyway when I bought it lol

Mine is set up pretty much by factory specs in the front and tires are standing straight up in the rear for drag racing as so when the car squats tires are just slightly negative at launch.

When you did the alignment you had the drag pack on right? just changing the fronts to skinny's changes front toe because of the relationship to bigger tires in the rear? I'm just trying to justify playing with my car on the alignment machine at work or not. I have a streetcar event on the 17th of next month and trying to avoid last minute checks and whatnot.
