just a thought, if you're getting a separate set of tires, think about getting wheels to go with 'em. they don't take up any more space in your garage and the money spent trading tires back and forth adds up and then you can just swap at home yourself.

You don't need all seasons. Pilot Super Sports or the new Pilot Sport 4S will work just fine and get you more tread life than the OEM Supercar 3's. Look at most of the sports cars tire offerings. Most give you Pilot Super Sports standard and Pilot Sport Cup 2's on track package cars. Z06/Z07, GT350/GT350R, Porsche GT cars, and even the Focus RS do this. Think of the OEM Goodyear Supercar 3's as closer to the Sport Cup 2's.

Stock sizes--285/30/20 & 305/30/20. 11/32 tread depth. 320 tread wear and rated great in the rain. They are not all season but for me a long lasting tire and great ride for the money.

like right now im running 17s with MT 305s. 28 tall.
The only thing that matters is the overall diameter of the rear tire.
if the replacement tire is smaller/shorter than stock...you'll be going slower than the speedometer is indicating.

the opposite if your replacement tire is bigger.

Was this on the stock 1LE wheels? I'd like to run a set of A/S 3s but wasn't sure if there would be amy fitment issues running a 285/35/20 on the stock 20x11 rear wheels.

No, there aren't any all seasons available in the OEM 1LE sizes, which would be 285 in the front and 305 in the rear.

If you get another set of rims, for example, the stock SS sizes, 245 front 275 rear, you can find plenty of ultra-high performance all season tires. This is what I did. The reason is that I keep my OEM supercar 3's on the OEM rims in the garage for track days. In the off season, I put on the standard SS wheels with Pirelli P-zero ultra high performance all seasons.

https://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires...ll+Season+Plus

If you live in a warm dry climate, the max performance summer tires which are available in the 285/305 sizes will be great. Such as the pilot super sports, etc.

However if you live in a colder wetter climate, the benefits of a true all season tire are obvious--far better wet traction, better durability.

I drive my 1LE in the off season and I'm in the pacific NW, so it can be rainy, cold, etc. I needed an all season tire, hence, why I bought the spare set of SS wheels.

Later on today I will be putting on a set of 19” Michelin a/s +3 Run Flats 285/35’ that are mounted on MRR M716 10’s and 11’s

*laughs* will let you know how it goes, and may even post a couple of pictures. Of course this all depends on me being able to roll them up from the basement, won’t be posting that video, tuff to get old.

Life is too short to not run performance summer tires...at least during summer.

All season is for passenger carrying sedans and SUVs.

I work for Bridgestone. One of the benefits we get is free trade-out of tires on a new car with less than 500 miles.

This is my only car and I drive it year round in all weather conditions, so I wasn't about to keep the OEM tires. After I got my 2SS/1LE back in May I had the local Firestone shop put Potenza RE970AS on the front and Potenza S001 on the rear, both in stock sizes. I ended up paying $32 for the road hazard protection, and I immediately almost doubled my tread depth while only sacrificing minimal dry handling and definitely gaining on wet handling.

There is absolutely no reason why an SS/1LE can't be driven year round
