Car is just over 50k on the odometer so decided to perform a little preventative maintenance and swap out the plugs. The NGK 6510's were getting positive reviews and found a set on ebay for only a few bucks a plug. Another note is that they're 1 step colder so when I'm ready to turn up the boost the plugs will already be done.

NGK with the stock plug.

Winter is coming and I'm not going through it again with bald rear tires! Been doing all kind of searching and found a great deal on another set of brand new, Saleen 5-spoke mustang wheels for $400 shipped. Best deal I could find for winter tires were the Federal Himalaya WS2 series in 245/45/18 for $80 a tire. Going with a square set up this time so I can rotate and get an even wear pattern. To get it mounted to the camaro hub, I ordered a set of 20mm and 25mm wheel adapters in 5x120 to 5x4.5.

Off to walmart!

Getting really good at stacking wheels in the cabin of the car. 2 in the back seat, 1 in the trunk, and 1 in the passenger seat.

Happiness is a pile of new wheels!

I really like the size and my fuel mileage went up as well as the car is peppier with the smaller diameter wheel and less rotational mass. Wish the rears were one size bigger but oh well. So long as they eat snow!

The booty is gone. The chonkyness will return next spring. lol

The 245 width is notably slimmer but the narrower tire will do better cutting through the snow.

Picked up a new front mount intercooler on black friday! Been waiting all year for this deal. Almost $200 off the normal price makes this purchase much more justifiable.

This thing is huge! Much heavier than stock too. New intercooler is about 24lbs while the stock intercooler is only 6lbs. What's also nice is that the cold side pipe is a hard pipe with the map tube mount so if you want to run an upgraded throttle body, just buy a GM 2.5l unit.

Took about 7 hours to install. Would of only been about 4-5 hours but me and a friend were messing around with making an installation video. (if the editing goes as planned we'll publish it) Not a hard job but very in depth and can be done with just some normal hand tools.

So stealthy looking!

Also, looks like after the holidays a new downpipe will be on the to-do list. My current catless dp is cracked and leaking at the turbo side flange.

I did manage to install my new Rev9 catted downpipe this weekend. Just in time to make it to work too. lol. Pipe was an ebay special $220 shipped to my door. I didn't get any pics but did make a long video of the install as well as a shortened version for comparison of the zzp vs rev9 pipes.

Had to throw some moolah at the back brakes yesterday. 60k on the stock brakes and they need replaced badly! Found a good deal on Raybestos pads and rotors on rock auto for $85. Not too bad for a back brake job. Never dealt with a rear parking brake solenoid so had a bit of trouble with finding information on how to get the thing to release the caliper piston but after that went pretty straight forward. Figured it out and made a quick video to help some people out with the job in the future.

Also, I have a fun mod for the front brakes! Here ATS 4-piston Brembo's are getting to be pretty cheap online and scored a brand new set for $200! Gathering all the parts and hopefully going to get my fronts replaced and upgraded at the same time. Probably not going to happen until next weekend.

Front Brembo's are in after a little experimentation. Had to get some washers to space out the SS bolts for the new calipers and the 13.6" rotors wont fit the ATS brakes. Grocery list includes:

-2 stock camaro lt brake rotors. (12.6" rotors)
-Left and right camaro ss brake lines. (needed due to stock rubber line bolts wont thread into the brembo calipers)
-Cadillac ATS calipers and pads.
-4 SS camaro caliper bolts+2 washer spacers for each bolt.

They just bolt right up! The most in depth part is replacing the brake lines. One other thing is that there are 2 bleeders per caliper now but just takes a little extra time to bleed.

These brakes feel really good! Didn't bite right away but after one trip to work the new pads bedded in and takes little effort to get the car stopped. Love these kind of mods. Cheap and easy.

Just noticed I didn't have any closeups of the caliper clearance to the rims. First one is my 20" summer rims and they have plenty of clearance.

Was a little worried about this next one. Threw on my 18" winter wheels and was pleasantly surprised to see they clear with no issues.
