Display Screen Icons

Was wondering if anyone knows if it is possible to get the 2019+ icons and display screen look into their 2016-18. I prefer the updated look a bit more.

I doubt it. The new infotainment is a complete overhaul with new hardware and new software, maybe even a new communication protocol.

There is no way GM will expend resources into a retrofit kit, they never do, they just want you to buy the newer car, and the job would be very expensive and risky for a third party, with a low sales potential (would you be willing to buy this for $3000 or even $2000?).

Now if it's just the icons and not the entire software you're after, there may be an easier way to hack that into our MyLink version, you could ask Chris at White Auto Media for example (https://www.whiteautoandmedia.com/), but even that would be a ton of work and money I'm afraid.

Nope. As per Chris,"The MAP sensor wont read boost at the OS level more than likely and if it does it likely doesn't broadcast it on the bus for the cluster to read since its an NA application."

Everyone runs a separate boost gauge instead, which is a bit ghetto IMO—I'd love to have it in the cluster ZL1 style as much as you do, but it doesn't seem worth the investment, I can't justify sinking a ton of money into a small convenience like this. When necessary, I read out the boost via my MPVI2.
