Does 2017 SS have a governor?

Since info about the 2017 SS seems to be slowly coming out, wondering if they have a governor set in their ECU. I know it was said that the 2016 did indeed have one.

In case you are not joking...

A "governor" is a speed limitation artificially placed on a vehicle by a mechanical or electronic device. In the case of the 6th gen Camaro SS, GM stated they did not install such a device and the vehicle is "drag limited" at around 170mph. Drag limited is the point at which the vehicles power and gearing can no longer overcome the increases in aerodynamic drag as you go faster.

According to the 2016 Camaro sales brochure...180 MPH is top speed for the Camaro SS. it is drag limited. The Turbo 4 and V6 LT Camaros top speed are 149 MPH and they are electronically governed.

Lol....Would be curious to find out what the top speed would actually be, if the 4 and the 6 were drag limited as the SS is.
