2nd gear flaring pretty badly.

so precursor, 2017 ss a8. I've had the triple flush, the TC replaced, the whole shebang that went along with the shudder issue.

It's been almost 8k since I've felt an issue at all.

yesterday driving home, get off the freeway and leaving a stop light, in sport mode manual, going from 1st to 2nd casually taking off, the transmission flares badly, almost 700 rpm before it kicks into gear.

I try to replicate it at the next light, and it does so just as bad.

this morning, a little cooler, and the car not fully warmed up, but in auto mode, it does it again, twice.

once I get off the freeway (roughly 30 miles), I can't get it to replicate again.

I will do further testing again once I get off work.

Anyone had this problem, if it is a problem? anything I can try, or look for?

when I was going through the shudder problems, I also had the hard 1-2 shifts that some people have mentioned, but once I got the new TC, that problem went away completely.

If it keeps happening, I'm obviously going to the dealer, but I'd rather it be a problem with the car and not a me issue.

update. It happened for a few days, now it's gone. I'm pretty sure it was just a temporary thing, but it was weird for sure.
