Wheel Locks?

Hi, Friends!
I've had my car for about 6 months and I went to have the tires replaced yesterday only to find that my car has wheel locks, which the dealership did not provide a key for (I bought the car used). Yes, I looked in all the places you would expect to find it. It's not in the car.

Before I go down to Chevy to see if their master key will unlock it, does anyone know if the 2017 1SS 1LE came stock with these locks? If they're not stock, I won't be able to get them unlocked at Chevy.

Guess I know why the dealer sold the car w/ bald tires.

Locks are not stock... They are either GM aftermarket or some other brand aftermarket...

Did you check in the cutouts in the trunk? When I put locks on a car I always put the lock and the old lugs back in the package in the trunk...

Where in California are you?

Locking lugs were an option available on factory orders, but the "GM" locks are just rebranded McGard locking lugs. They did come in black, so that could be what you have, but the odds of them having the right key at the dealership doesn't seem good...

Yep, I checked there. I'm pretty sure the previous owner just didn't turn it in w/ the car. I live in NorCal & San Diego is my home away from home.

I had the same issue, emailed Mcgard with a picture of the lock, and was able to purchase a key from them for $15-$20. This is their email:

omg thank you so much! Chevy wasn't able to unlock them. So I'm sending an email now. I appreciate the help!

Anyone with a bolt extractor kit should be able to get them off. You won't be able to use them again though.
