I'd have to add a flex fuel kit, and the only E85 station that's cheap ($2.90 vs. 3.70) is 12 miles out of the way. May be something I have to think about adding though at some point anyway. Or downgrading if things get reeeally outta hand lol

I'm not going to drive all over hell to see if dealers will negotiate. If there were some locally, sure I'd go down there, but I'm not traveling 6 hours round trip just to see. To each his own. The dealer said they weren't budging on the price because they will jack it up to $67k this spring and get it.
A bike is a different story from a hard to find limited car that everyone is after and is selling before they hit the sales floor. just saying...and yeah before the past year or so cars were easier to buy over the phone. Depends also where you live I guess. dealers in the midwest seem more willing to deal over phone but here in the east coast yeah good luck. I mean if you go on chevys inventory site and say narrow the search for zl1s in cherry tint there are 10 in the whole country new for sale. so how many phone calls you think those dealers have had on those cars from out of state and looky loo people? and what incentive do they have to deal with you from out of state when 20 people a day are coming in asking from in state? Im in western nc and my local dealers here wont even sell to out of state people. 1 dealer has literally 1 new car on the lot another has 4 and a 3rd has 10. they cant even keep cars for locals. hell even our local KIA sealer has a 10k mark up on every single car on the lot ON FLIPPIN KIAS!!!!

anyway.. if it works for ya keep doing it just seemed like it sounded like it wasn't working for ya and I was just trying to say car buying has changed and well... phone and internet was duds for me and actually going down has worked every time.... just trying to help. best of luck. I mean if it gets you what you want what does a nice Saturday after noon drive around to some dealers hurt? beats sitting at home disappointed you cant find one and you get a nice drive out of it

Yesterday, got the all washed/cleaned after its winter slumber. Had a beautiful 70 degree day here in Northeast Ohio.

Exterior wash, interior detail/vacuum. Took the carpets out and wet shampoo/cleaned them. Polished the tailpipes and dressed the external plastic on the rear of the car.

It's all set to go for Spring/Summer! Hopefully the days of salt/brine are behind us with warmer temps incoming.

I’m in NY and after waiting 5 months for my order to move from 1100 I started searching the inventory. I found my exact car/color at a dealership in Michigan. I called them and they sold it to me at MSRP. They didn’t even ask for a deposit. Did everything over the phone. Overnighted me the paperwork and included a return overnight envelope. I had the car picked up by PlyCar and it was delivered to my house yesterday, Sunday 3/6. It was in perfect condition. So not all dealers are a-holes. For buying out of state this dealer/salesman treated me as if I was a long time customer. I’m happier than a pig in poop right now after waiting six months.

Every time I invest that kind of time, as soon as I get on the highway I get stuck behind an 18-wheeler that is hauling some sort of nasty sludge or the guy in front of me decides to wash his windshield. Oh well, if she doesn't get dirty, no excuse to wash her and spend time on her.

Oh and the Dallas area was nice a few days ago but on my commute this morning, freaking sleet..

Congratulations! I'm glad to hear that your car arrived safely. Your situation sounds similar to mine, except I went to pick mine up rather than shipping it as I had initially planned to do.

Not exactly all about what I did with my Camaro today. Although, I gave this girl a home, I think she will be a good riding buddy

Kind of a similar experience. There's really a national market for Camaro; even more so with higher-performance models. You need to be flexible and move quickly. Chevy's website was really very helpful, and tells you if the car is "in transit". Found a car that worked at a dealership near New Orleans that had been just delivered. Three miles on the odo, and I offered MSRP. Dealer came back with a counter of MSRP + $10K. Of course I declined, and said Camaro is in pretty good supply nationwide. Dealer salesperson called me back in 5 minutes - no surprise - and agreed to MSRP, so we were done. I did fly up to inspect the car before closing, and had it shipped home.

Hate to throw some shade (sunroof humor ) but I'm glad I opted for no sunroof. There's just something slick about the lines of the sunroof-less look. I really thought hard about it because of the cramped quarters of the Camaro. If it was a panoramic sunroof, I would've really had a hard time not checking the box. But then at that point, might as well consider the vert.
