Holes Behind My Badges?

Hello! I have a 2010 Camaro 2SS. When I replace my rear bow tie a few years back I noticed my car had holes behind it (not all 2010s did but it seems like most had the holes). I am looking to possibly remove the “Camaro” badge on the front fenders but am unsure if those also have holes behind them. I have tried to look it up but can’t find a concrete answer. If anyone knows, please throw it down below! Thanks!

I believe they are stuck to the vehicle with adhesive. I’ve seen posts talking about using dental floss under the letters to remove them.

Mine is a 2013 but there were no holes behind any of the letters. Like he said above, I used dental floss to remove them and replaced it with script.

The holes help to locate it I think. The camaro lettering is all double stick tape and no holes. The only one with holes is the rear bow tie, front is clips

I have a 2011 and no holes behind the bowtie, from what I have read, the early model 2010's had alignment holes behind the rear bowtie's, the fender lettering is just stuck on with 2 sided tape and as mentioned above use dental floss or I used fishing line to take mine off and some googone to remove the left over adhesive on the car. Also if you spray some of the googone behind the letters before you remove them, it will be easier to get them off. Good luck.

I think 2010 models were the only ones that had the giude ,simular thing with the GM chiclets on the bottom of the front fender, and the GM Performance division emblem under the hood ,they weren't on all the 2010 models.

Dang, so some of the 2010s do have the guide holes?

Just some of the early 2010 models had the holes. 2010 was a weird year. We also had later 2010 models come with rear parking/proximity sensor in the bumper, but I don't think it was functional until model year 2011. Could be wrong on the functionality though.

Like above 2010's were a strange year.
You had some earlier pre 10's that had chiclets and no parking sensors
You had after Feb 2010,no chiclets and parking sensors, some worked some didn't (i've heard)
The GM Performance division emblem was only on the V8 Model year 2010
The holes in the trunk for the Bowtie disappeared in the MY 2011 along with the Chiclets and The GM Performance division emblem.
Front Bowtie Held in by clips.
No holes on any Camaro C A M A R O emblems on the fenders
On the 2011 GFX ground effects could be ordered Car Color But installed by Dealer
2011 Heritage Grill could be ordered Car Color
All GFX and Grilles were Argent Gray from Factory and could be installed from Factory (Front Spoiler only installed by Dealer)

Ok, thanks for confirmation. I wasn't sure if they were functional or not. I do wish I had them but I've gone this far without them.

My car is an early 2010 (Born August 2009) GM Chiclets, GM Performance Division badge, Factory Unpainted Gray GFX, no parking sensors, VIN # 42592
