With a body shop the first thing to find out is are they charging you insurance rate or are they sticking it to you?

Most body shops these days only want to do crash/insurance work - which is all most of them are capable of.

I had a bit of a time finding someone to do rust repair on a 2010 CTS Wagon. Small spot of rust on the right rear roof. It's in the shop now, repairs will include a full roof panel and the rear cross brace between the "d" columns. Out the door $ will be around $4000. That's at insurance body labor rate which is about $50 an hour now.

Id say this is more than fair as they are going to be painting every single piece of plastic on the front bumper (light bezels, upper grill, lower grill, lower spoiler) as well as the bottom part of the side rocker in satin black.
That's a good price for all that paint and work. Hope it all turns out well and matches up well. Good luck, should look great.

I agree it’s a good price as well! I’ll post some before and after pictures once I get it back, probably sometime mid next week. I’m super excited!
