Ya my fronts were 16.4. I weighed the Popular drag stars and the 17x10 were 23lbs and 17 x 4.5 were 20.

Price that I saw for the RCs in 17x10 with 7.25 backspace (should be like Duramcr1 has) was 628.xx for a pair with shipping included. I used to have the Weld 17x10s with a 7.2 backspace, so I'd guess that these wheels sit in a good place as far as wheelwell location. Some of the popular Drag Stars have a 6.0 backspace, and they stick out more than I think is correct for this car. Obviously that last is personal preference. |

Guy that I know has the 92 Drag Stars and he weighed them in functional condition (not bare). 17x10.5 rear custom offset with 305/45-17 ET-R (rated 31) average 56.2, so estimate 25.2 for wheel 17x4.5 front with 28x6x17 S/R (rated 25) average 44.7, so estimate 19.7 for wheel He also checked one of my 17x10 RT-S with 275/40-17 ET-S/S (rated 31) and got 52.1, so estimate 21.1 for wheel I checked a Weld RT-S 17x5 with S/R 26x6x17 (rated 18) and got 36 on a different scale, so estimate 18 for wheel. |

Conical seat is the way to go IMO. Drag Stars use a shouldered lug nut which sucks donkey balls, yes I have mounted them on a car, and my old Welds using conical nuts were far superior. Nice to know that there are now several modestly-priced wheels that avoid those crappy Race Star lug nuts.

You should be ok if they're only 2 yrs. When the rubber gets old like 4~5 years, then you might spin more than expected. Of course, if you race enough, then you'll wear them out before they get too hard from age. Your car should be WAY in the 11s now, it has E85 and LT2 intake manifold?
