I will. Not sure yet when they are going to arrive.

I agree with you about the contrast of the black on Rapid Blue and Rapid Blue looking best on the 1LE. Rapid Blue by itself can be somewhat overwhelming. And I hoping you are right the the black hash marks might make the car look even better.

Received my hash marks yesterday. Installed matte black hash marks on my 1LE this morning. I love the look of black accents against the Rapid Blue paint. Took me about an hour to install both. Best if you take your time. The hardest part is getting them lined up exactly where you want them. I also used a spray bottle with distilled water to mist under the vinyl. That made the job easier.

Just out of curiousity, have you considered removing the matte wrap from the hood? I think the car would look even better with the black hash mark and the rapid blue hood.

No. Rapid Blue is such a bright color that I'm not sure I would like it as much without the contrasting black parts that come on the 1LE along with the black parts I've added to the car. As it is right now I really like the ratio of black to blue on the car.

I do think that the hash marks would still look good on the car without the wrapped hood. And they would no doubt stand out more.

BTW, I almost went with matte black hash marks trimmed in red, but I was worried I would be disappointed. I saw a picture of that set up on a white 1LE and it looked great. Just wasn't sure what it would look like with Rapid Blue.

Thought I would add to the thread. I haven't seen pictures of many ZL1s with hash marks. I installed hash marks from Screaming Chicken on my Summit White ZL1 yesterday. Gloss red with gloss black pinstripes.
