I agree with both your reasons on the 20". Only thing is there are more choices in the 19". Decisions, Decisions...
According to the fitment table it states the 20's are due in August, of course that can change...

Just thought I’d update this topic. Apex tells me they expect to have the VS-5RS in 20” fitments available around August. I’ll be interested.

Unfortunately that might be a little while. Going to burn up the stock SC3s and replace them with A/S tires on the stock 20s for a cold weather set. Then use these as my DD summers. Not sure what I want put on them yet, probably PS4Ss.

Have we seen any pics of the 20” yet? Looks like it’s 10.5” in the front and 11.5” in the back which is perfect for 295/30 and a 315 or 325/30 in the rear.

For us SS guys the 10.5” in the front shouldn’t poke near as bad with 295 vs the ZLE 305 setup. . ZL1 guys could prob squeeze a 305 on there… based on the widths looks like they targeted the SS for the 20” (which is prob a smart move)

where did you see information on the sizing for the 20" version? do you know if the 10.5 front will be an SS-friendly offset?

On their website if you hunt around. It should be fine for SS, I’m seriously thinking about selling my 1LE spec Velgen wheels for these.

I preordered my 20” VS5RS this week. Gonna be a long wait till January (hopefully) for actual receipt. For those who bought and received the 19” version already, what did you use for lug nuts? And what type (conical tapered)?

For lug nuts…..If you don’t need / want locks I recommend the open end ones Apex sells.

Thanks. I DM’d Apex after posting this and they replied that these wheels take a conical lug, including either aftermarket or OEM equipment.

VS-5RS in 20” fitment arrived.

The wheel guy I want to use for tire install is down until the end of the month so it may be a few weeks before they are installed and on the ground. I’ll do a separate thread once they are on.
