Fender Letter Placement
I am currently in the process of swapping out my chrome “Camaro” fender lettering with black letters. I have been trying to find specs for placement but I am coming up empty. Does anyone have the specs/measurements on where these are placed?

I put blue tape along the bottom and 1 side of the existing letters before i took them off. I removed the letters, polished it up, then used that tape to put the new black letters on. Then peeled the tape. Came out perfect.

I did try us the painters tape, however after I removed the chrome letters, they’re were either replaced at one time and put back on with super glue or the car appears to have been repainted and the letters were masked of when it was sprayed. I used the painters tape to find a good reference point, but after I removed the letters there is a raised outline of paint or glue around every letter. They were also reapplied slightly crooked. I had to remove the tape so the outlines can be mechanically buffed down. I will need the factory specs to make sure they are reinstalled correctly. I appreciate everyone’s help.

Well that sucks!! If you have any friends with Camaros, just get a tape measure and take some measurements of the location, write them down and draw a small sketch of it all. You should be good that way. Edge of wheel opening, distance from top of fender, distance from bottom of fender, distance from door over to last letter, then finally, the distance of each letter from each other. Good luck.
