Battery?
I use a battery tenter on my cars I keep in storage.
Battery Lasts me over 8 years on average. Don’t drive my ZL1 much when not in use it goes on the Camaro CTEK trickle charger. All other cars are on a batter tender. Never had an issue. |

Whenever mine goes bad I plan to buy an odyssey from the link below. 1, because they are awesome batteries. And 2 because fcpeuro.com basically lifetime warranty’s everything but aerosols.

I bought an Antigravity a few days ago. They had a coupon SS15 that knocked $120 off so I got the 30ah delivered for $668.

My 2018 zl1s battery just started to go. Went to Costco and got an Interstate AGM. Since its a track car and sits for a few weeks at a time, I use my battery tender. Been using them for 20+ years and never had a battery fail because of them. If anything, it prolonged their life, specially in the AZ summers.

Hmm, so one Dude condemning Interstate, another praising them. Might wait for a few more opinions

I use multiple AGM's brands with Battery Tender brand dual chargers and most importantly an Optima Digital 1200 Performance Charger and Battery Maintainer.
I have tested and tried to optimize battery replacement \ battery care for 20+ years. I rotate driving my cars so they mostly sit but driven for a week or so at a time. I thought I had the battery thing licked with Optima red tops but when their production moved to Mexico a number of years ago, their life span dropped below what was acceptable for an, at the time, $180 battery that I always used AutoMeter battery tenders on. Well the AutoMeter battery tenders started going bad (no bench test available; had to return to AutoMeter for testing!!) and they sold me some replacements at a good price. Then bought Battery Tender brand tenders, tested them vs. the new AutoMeter tenders on new Optimas and Interstate batteries. No more Interstate batteries for me. The Optima 1200 unit was the key as this device diagnosed and reconditioned some marginal AGMs including Optimas and help me figure out battery condition on numerous type of batteries. I'd leave the Optima 1200 connected to marginal batteries and I was good again. Summary; depends on how you use your vehicle but that Optima 1200 rotated in with Battery Tender brand tender units periodically works on multiple brand batteries (AGM and lead acid) and has reduced my battery frustrations. At one time, I was going to buy just one battery and install it the car I wanted to drive. That I thought would be too much work when I had to move cars around hence the testing. Not sold on Optimas still either.

I'm leaving the Camaro charger on mine 24/7, so I'm sure to have over 15V when I need it.

Have had good luck with Odyssey in my Jeep - hasn't failed my winch, yet. Just bought one for the Camaro.

Having just read the battery charger manual for the first time, I see that GM states repeatedly that it's only for lead acid batteries, which do not include my Antigravity. Looks like I'll order a lithium charger.
The Camaro charger probably wouldn't hurt a lithium battery like Antigravity, but I would rather spend the $40 to be sure.

"A lead-acid charger that can be set to charge no higher than 14.6v can be used for regular charging and then MUST be disconnected after the battery is fully charged. DO NOT leave the lead-acid charger connected to maintain or store the battery, because most will NOT maintain the proper voltage charge algorithm for lithium batteries and damage will occur to the battery that is not covered under battery warranty."
In short, you need a lithium charger for Antigravity.
