Rear rotor options?

I have an LT1. Looking for solution to update rear rotor.

You guys do anything on yours? DBA or EBC work?

Tia

Maybe the LT1 rear brakes are the same as the V6 1LE brakes? I don’t know but maybe somebody else does. It so, then maybe this thread helps.

I have a set of slotted R1 Carbon GEOMET Rotors from R1 Concepts. I've tracked them and they were fine on my V6 M6. The slotted rears look good with my 4 Piston front upgrade, with slotted fronts. Though they don't match perfectly.

I think you will be hard pressed to find an upgraded rotor of the rears on an LT. I don't even think DBA makes a rotor for the back. The only ones I have been able to find are a few choices at R1 concepts mentioned above. From my track experience (which is minimal) the brake set up with the RPO JL9 works just fine with upgraded GLoc track pads and fluid for the OEM tire size. My next upgrade is tire width to increase the contact patch for better grip and braking and a track alignment, and then maybe upgrade to 4 piston Brembos on the front. I have done numerous 7-20 minute sessions with under hard braking and have never had any brake fade. If you want track pad part numbers drop me a note I can look it up but I only use them at the track they squeal like a pig.
