Chris you need to dial in what you have first in my opinion. Get the trans unlocked and get it on a dyno then after a good tune you can make some changes like the intake and make slight changes to the tune yourself. If you go to a ported MSD you'll see some additional power up top but not down low. Although mine is NA I did see similar ets but my mph was up a couple over a ported Lt1 intake, however I did switch over to a stock Lt5 TB to go along with my MSD. I texted Chad at CBI race cars and told him you may be calling him about some tuning and dyno time.

Yeah, you are probably right about getting what I have tuned first.

For a street car that you can do some drag racing with you'll be able to make plenty of power with your current package. If I run across an MSD or bigger TB I'll let you know for future plans. You have my number so we can stay in touch.

It doesn't even need to go to a dyno. I could have it pretty close in 1 or 2 revisions remotely. The MSD won't make much difference on a Procharged car. I would stick with stock or you could do a LT2 manifold. If you ever go decide to make big power and do a full build then just go with a BTR trinity or Procharger IM. Either way I would never use a 2 piece MSD manifold with boost.

As I already mentioned most of your gains will be in the trans tune. Look at your shift extensions in logs. going from 5 psi average boost to 7psi will make a noticeable difference in power. Based on where your timing and fueling is, there won't be a ton of power to be had there but I am sure there is some.

I have my stock 3.9 laying around. $20. That should cover shipping and my drive into town. DM me.

Not sure if you were (first of all) serious and if you are referring to ecm tune or tcm tune but happy to send it your way for a review if you are interested.

Do you mean 10.78@132? That MPH is at least a 10.7 with that 1.7 60'

Talked to CBI this morning. Realizing that my capacity to do a torque conv swap when I was in my 20s on 70's/80's G-body and F-body is much different than my capacity to do the same on a 6th-gen Camaro in my 40's

I'm probably going to have them do the converter swap (price was reasonable) and fix up the tune once I get the TCM unlocked, and my converter arrives. I feel I've learned enough about the system that I can certainly make changes to an existing tune, but dont have the exp to *safely* get it where I want it. Doing legal street pulls that provide meaningful data is hard too.

Probably going to be several weeks before I have anything else going on with the car. Installing my new gauge pod and pulling the TCM this weekend is all.

Interesting thing I found out. They asked my why I was only running E50 and not full E85. Explained where my inj PW is... They said with LT4 fueling, with a blower cam I should be able to run full E85. I guess the longer duration allows a bigger window for injection. Not doing that now, but something to look forward to.

I have a stg 2 blower cam w/32% fuel lobe and my PW is around 3.9. Not running any E though.

I must be suffering forum posting withdrawl.... MUST.... POST.... SOMETHING....

TCM is at hptuners.

Relocated the gauges to the a-pillar using the ZZP pillar pod.

Confirmed leak in the eth sensor assembly. Really super slow leak. Not even dripping, just enough that wrapping a shop towel around the connection results in some tiny spots after driving. Contacted DSX to make sure they were ok with me disassembling the connection w/o voiding their warranty. Got a really fast reply. Long story short they are ok with me disassembling, cleaning, reassembling. They also recommended putting loctite on the conical portion of the connection when reassembling. Not the threads, which dont provide any actual sealing. Never heard of this before, wanted to see if anyone else has done this. I may try to get some clarification that i should actually put threadlocker on the conical portion, and that they didnt mean some other type of loctite brand sealant.

I built a little bracket to hold the fuel line so it wouldn't vibrate and possible cause a leak since its not supported very well on my C7. I'll take a picture and post it so you can see if this would work for you or others. I've never had mine leak but Dave and the guys at Dsx are really good about service and responding to possible issues. Good company for sure and very innovative.

Missed this post...Yes I was serious.

I am currently helping another friend(not the P1x car...this is a built turbo car) sort out his tune after getting his car back from Big Name Shop in the business. This car came back running .90 lambda until 5k rpm then it would go .78. once meth ramped in. Shop told him that it was tuned so it wasn't relying on meth. He initially inquired for it to be tuned with no Meth because he upgraded the fuel system. Now it's turned off, Running E60, 11-12psi, .81-.82 lambda and it's hitting it's target shortly after entering PE. Injectors are 5-5.2ms. Still needs a little more timing in it...but it's getting close.

You would be blown away by some of the stuff I see released back to the customer from these "Shops". If you don't have a build that interests them or doesn't potentially have monetary gain(such as putting their name out there on social media) then there is a good chance you will get a "meh good enough ...on to the next one" tune.

So if you want some help, hit me up when you get the TCM back. I am not claiming to be a tuner nor will I...but after being screwed over by well regarded "shops" myself, I started tuning 8yrs ago on LS stuff. I have tuned or helped fix tunes on several LT cars now.

Honestly I think you are capable enough that you could probably reach out to somebody like Rick Clarke(Rickifast) pay for a base tune and finish it up yourself. You seem to have the basic understanding and the willingness to learn.
