Permanent water spots!!!

I left my black SS out on the driveway for 2 months in the dead heat and got rained on many times. Just washed the car twice, large nasty water spots do not come out. I'm not surprised by this nor am I proud of my unforgivable sin. Is there anything else I can do here aside from a paint correction? Thanks

If the water spots have etched the paint, a polishing product or ultra compound is what you need.

2 months of sitting with water spots. You would be hard pressed to get those out without polishing. Might as well try a water spot remover.

As others have said, some Meguiar's polishing compound should take care of it.

And then to prevent further spots and to keep your car cleaner longer, I would recommend the Meguair's Waterless Car Wash and Wax. I have been using this for the past couple of years on my cars and it's great. Save a lot of time from having to hand wash and water just beads right off. Doesn't get water spots either.

Don’t waste your time with water spot removers. Don’t waste your time looking up “tricks” to remove water spots either. These types of water spots that you have only have one method of removal. That is you must polish them out as others have stated. This is not the end of the world of course. You have 2 choices, pay a detailer to do it or buy a Da polisher, watch YouTube videos, and do it yourself. The second method is what I did and it worked pretty well. Just make sure to ask any questions you have and make sure to follow the process exactly as you watch.

Some vinegar on a rag took water spots right off mine.

I do have ceramic coating on the car.

Polishing is the best bet.

You can try CLR or Carpro Spotless, but odds are they won't be enough.
