I guess it's their money if they wanna blow it on oil changes every two weeks thinking it helps then go on. lol I'll do my $80 oil change once a year and save money for that procharger install.

I run one of their bypass filter systems on my company diesel truck and their oil is in everything down to the smallest dirt bike and generator. Great stuff.

Here are a few more general situations where oil change intervals substantially below 7500 miles would be reasonable and appropriate. They seem to be related to extended heavy demands on the engine and/or temperature extremes. The oil isn't going to know what name or logo is on the engine.

Severe
– Moderate to heavy load or towing
– Mountainous or off-road conditions
– Extended idling
– Extended hot or cold operation
Extreme
– Maximum load or towing
– Extreme hot or cold operation

I highly doubt anyone is doing any of the said listed with a sports car. I mean I've changed my oil twice since Ive owned it, it has 11000 miles on it. First was done at 2000 miles with amsoil. Im not due to change it until august that'll be a year. I'll get the oil analyzed and I guarantee it has tons of life still in it. If there is someone out there that tows with a camaro you need your grape checked out.

Apparently there are at least a few people who do tow with a Camaro. Within load limits, it'd actually be a pretty good tow vehicle (power, brakes, own weight).

Back in the early 1970's I even knew a guy who towed a pop-up camper with a late-1960's Corvette.

For some reason those comments throwing money away on early oil change make me laugh, if you driving a v8 for fairly driving like me you throwing money away in fuel anyways. So what's 1 oil change more a year than you planned to do.

3K rule is old school thinking unless you're tracking your car. If you're tracking your car you should be changing to a heavier oil each track day anyway

I'll take that in consideration.
