Newbie looking for buying advice
Hey guys, gonna say sorry in advance for the long paragraphs but here goes...
Seems like there might be a possibility that I'll be getting in a Camaro way sooner than I had expected (my ETA was maybe another year and a half but if things continue the way they do, it might be as early as next month) and I wanted your advice on the purchase I know exactly what I want in mind as I've optioned out the car several hundred times on the website but I know being at the dealer is a whole another story. The two times I went, they shrugged me off as another young kid looking for a joy ride when I asked for a test drive but now I'm in contact with a dealer who is actually treating me like a customer Coming to the point, now that the December 20% off deals are gone, the $750 voucher from the auto show is invalid and no major discounts are being offered on the 6th Gen, do you have any advice to impart on how to talk the price tag down? My build comes out as follows: 2017 2LT, 3.6L v6 Automatic with NPP, splitter, RS package, 20 inch black wheels and Lighting and Convenience package totaling about $47,000 (rounded down). The $1,500 Auto and another $1,500 v6 is a must along with the $900 something NPP and although I would REALLLY like the Lighting and Convenience package, I can live without it. With the above in mind, is there anything I can do to help me lower the price down? I tried pricing the 1LT with the same stuff above but since the Lighting and Convenience package isn't offered on there, the $6,000 difference between the 1LT and 2LT brought the price down to maybe $37,000 (rounded down). I'm looking to do several cosmetic changes after my purchase so I'd like some extra cash left over (my vision: http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showth...08664&page=147) but when you got your cars, did the dealer throw you a bone? Offered free tinting? Free Oil changes? Anything I can do or maybe need to know to make my sale feel worth it? Do you have any dealers you'd recommend? Any advice would be so greatly appreciated |

Give Richard Bartley a call at Williamson Uxbridge.
He been with them for 35 years, a family business. No heavy sales pitches and looks after you. 416-989-7235 cell rbartley@williamsonuxbridge.com They are sponsors of the OCC. They did have a loaded 2016 2LT/RS/auto in NFG with 10K on it. They also have 6-7 new ones on the lot. Let them know you got the info off the Camaro site. Any other questions let me know. Mike |

Thanks so much Mike! This is exactly what I was looking for. I find personal referrals being so much more honest and intimate than just walking into a dealer. I'll give him a call today for sure after lunch. |

I don't think he's in today, but he will be in tomorrow.
I've bought two cars from him and he has been great to deal with. Todd Williamson is the owner and he is also very personable. They gave me the best trade around for my 2011 and don't forget you have the spin to win or what ever GM are calling it at the moment I got $900 on it. Good Luck Mike |
