I'm curious if everyone is talking about the same make and model of tires?

The SS has 20' Goodyear F1 "summer only" in the staggered setup. What brand, model of tires comes on the V6.

The info I see from tire rack specifies the LT with 20" wheels has F1 All Season tires.

So apples to oranges? Those are totally different tires from SS.

Correct the SS uses different summer tires, different tread pattern, different size, different speed and load rating, softer summer on compound, and can't be rotated. It is of ZERO comparison to the V6 RS size 20's. Those are a all season square setup that will last much much longer than the SS's setup.

Run Flats GONE

'16 2SS with 17K. I replaced the runflats with Michelin A/S 3's. I can now actually hear what the passenger is saying when going 75mph. It's great to get rid of all that road noise. And the ride is so-o-o-o-o much better. I'm a happy owner.

Mine are great at 18,500. When I get new ones, If I switch to regular tires like the Michelins, do I need to get a spare tire?

Currently at about 32K with mine - thinking I might get another 12K. Mainly highway driving on terrible MI roads. Ride quality isn't the best so I might switch to something else when the time comes.

My v6 runflats lasted 20k miles and all 4 were bald enough so that parts of the belt were worn thru and I don't burn out.

If those are supposed to be much longer lasting than the ss runflats then I don't know what kind of fool would ever spend money to buy them again.

20k miles for expensive tires is offensive. And as far as being all season... I guess.. If you like sliding around like you were on ice in any kind of wet weather. Granted, they were probably too worn at 15k miles to have any effective tread.

Either I got 4 fluke garbage tires or all runflats are the biggest scam this side of extended warranties... Either way you'd have to hate money to buy them on purpose

I did the same except I bought spare wheels for the PS3+ and ZL1 lift blocks - I'll rotate the summer only F1s back when the weather improves.

I have about 18K on the car now, but all but one of my tires has been replaced under warranty. One corner was replaced twice. I'm gonna have to figure out which of my tires is original equipment and figure out if I want to just go ahead and replace that one.

Just hit 18k on my V6 and the tires still look brand new. Plenty of tread and good even wear.
