3Rd SS Camaro - HyperSmurf lives on.

Hey Everyone,

The day came and I sold my 2016 SS and purchased a new 2020 2SS!

I had so many problems with my 16, and was completely done. (If anyone is curious about my mechanical nightmares DM me) After deciding to get my 3rd, camaro I began the search.

Nowhere could I find a 2019 or 2020 in riverside blue, manual and black leather. I had 5 dealerships all searching all coming back with the same answer. It did not exist. Luckily, a dealership found almost what I wanted... blue, manual, light grey interior.

I came in, loved the color but knew what I was really wanting. I opted not to build one, but buy this one. The dealership connected me to the right people and we designed the interior that I wanted.

Within an hour of having it, I put an intake on and had it tuned.

Just got her back with black leather today. The contrast in the door cards looks great and now I have exactly what I was wanting.

What do you all think?

Congratulations on your new Camaro! I'm glad you didn't allow the issues with your previous Camaro to dissuade you from purchasing another sixth-generation Camaro.

That looks great. I prefer black but those gray seats look pretty good.
I ended up with a gray / black 2 tone interior on 2 Colorado’s now and I like it.
Hasn’t been hard to keep clean. I figured if it ever was a problem I would put new covers on like you did. Similar situation I wanted a 4 door long bed 4x4 in a nice color and that was hard to find so I didn’t concern myself with gray vs black interior.

My Camaro is a hyperblue convertible. Is this the same color?

Thank you so much. It wasn’t an easy call, but my 2012 was probably the best car I’ve ever owned.

Exactly! I kept all OEM leather too, so if an owner down the road or myself get bored, back ups!

This is called Riverside Blue. I miss my hyper so much. Quiet honestly, if it were available I’d get another.

hyperblue is a really spectacular color - I'm giving my 2016 a polish / wax with Griots products and it looks incredible. Hard to believe it's factory GM paint!!

Congrats !!! I went from a 16 to a 19 a few weeks ago. But mine wasnt by choice, my 16 got totalled, I was heartbroken....but I actually am liking the 19 even more.

Yes, I absolutely was. It makes a huge difference! I get no whistle and no codes, it sounds amazing.
